Description of the assignment

The Aero Commercial Department mission is to direct the activities delegated by the Executive Committee involving the management, development and overall coordination of ANA's aero commercial business, within the scope of Aero Business Development, Pricing and Economic Regulation and Analytics and Aviation Product Development. Its main responsibilities are:


  • To support the Executive Committee in strategically defining the aero business with a view to leveraging the company’s sustained growth.
  • To promote the development of the aero business (passengers and cargo), in coordination with the company’s different organisational units and airports.
  • To manage the area of Aero Business Development at the Lisbon and Beja Airports, and to coordinate this activity for the remaining airports in conjunction with local teams.
  • To manage the area of Pricing and Economic Regulation in close conjunction with the company’s other organisational units and airports.
  • To manage the area of Analytics and Aviation Product Development at the Lisbon and Beja Airports, and to coordinate these activities at the remaining airports.
  • To represent ANA externally with aviation customers, partners, aviation-related committees and the airport business, tourism organisations, the business community and groups tied to the aviation industry, to develop good institutional and business relationships, while simultaneously maintaining close ties with regional stakeholders, together with the local operation of airlines, through the respective airports.


  • Plans and conducts activities aimed at maintaining and increasing the level of international passenger and cargo flights to Lisbon Airport;
  • Meet with Airline Planning executives and other senior airline executives from around the world to present proposals for route development opportunities, according to the business plan;
  • Maintain and develop relationships to foster route development efforts;
  • Recommend, develop and implement effective strategies to communicate air route development initiatives;
  • Represent Lisbon airport and ANA with a variety of airline marketing organizations from the public and private sectors.

It's not mandatory for candidates to speak Portuguese, although preferable.
